ACCESS

We understand that many members of the community require additional support in accessing events, services and facilities throughout the city.

We were awarded the GOLD award on Attitude is Everything’s Live Events Access Charter in 2019 and re-awarded the Gold award in 2023 for our hard work and commitment to making Pride Cymru as accessible as possible for Deaf and disabled people.

FAQs - PRIDE CYMRU 2024

We want to make the event as accessible as possible to everybody and we offer all reasonable measures to assist with your attendance and enjoyment.

At the same time, the event takes place on a large site made up of uneven surfaces, grass areas and large cobbles. Navigating around the site may prove challenging to some people. We are continually looking at ways to improve this aspect of our event site.

Access tickets are available for those in need of a carer or personal assistant/companion. There is a viewing platform reserved for those with specific needs and there are accessible toilets including one RevoLOOtion vehicle which has a changing bed and hoist (please bring your own sling).

If you purchase an access ticket. Helen, our lovely Access Manager, will then be in touch to confirm your eligibility and to talk about your specific needs. If you’d like to book disabled parking, Helen can also sort that out for you.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to accessibility, please contact Helen and Lauren by email on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
