Pride Cymru

Songbirds Choir are a non auditioning community choir for LGBT+ women, non binary and trans people based in Cardiff. Currently the choir has around 30 members and we always welcomes new people who are interested in joining.  Songbirds were set up in 2012 and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2022. Our appearance at Pride will follow our 10th anniversary concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama back in June.

As a group we pride ourselves on our inclusivity and we aim to be a supportive and friendly group where members can have fun and make a beautiful sound. The ethos of the choir is acceptance and fun; we are a community and a family, and have become a key feature of the lesbian and queer scene in Cardiff over the last decade. Songbirds rehearse every Monday from 7.30 - 9pm at City United Reform Church in Cardiff City Centre.
