  • LGBTQ+ Allyship

LGBTQ+ allyship is vital in creating a more inclusive society for all individuals. LGBTQ+ people still face discrimination and marginalisation in many areas of life, including in education, the workplace, housing, and healthcare.

Our LGBTQ+ allyship training is designed to help participants understand the experiences and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community, and how to be an effective ally. The training covers a number of topics, including UK law, Welsh Government guidance, the impact of discrimination and marginalisation, and ways to support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

Through interactive activities and discussions, participants will learn how to challenge their own biases and become more effective allies in their personal and professional lives.

  • Mythbusting

There are many myths, misconceptions and stereotypes about the LGBTQ+ community. Our mythbusting training sessions address these by covering a wide range of topics, including the different identities and experiences within the community, the reality of LGBTQ+ lives, and the impact of discrimination and marginalisation.

Through interactive activities and discussions, participants will learn how to challenge their own biases, and become more informed and effective allies in their personal and professional lives. It will help attendees to understand the facts and realities of the LGBTQ+ community and be able to correct misinformation and stereotypes in their own environment.

  • Pronouns, terminology & use

The way we communicate can either make people feel safe and welcome, or excluded and vulnerable. Language is incredibly powerful, and seemingly simple words can have a big impact on people.

In our Pronouns and Terminology sessions, we will discuss how language affects those around us, particularly members of the LGBTQ+ community. We will then explore how inclusive language and behaviours can enhance your professional practice, covering topics like the different types of pronouns and the importance of using them correctly, and the appropriate terms to use when referring to the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Trans Awareness

Understanding gender diversity and what it means to be trans is vital to any organisation that cares about equality and diversity.

Our Trans Awareness training sessions will teach you about the everyday experiences of trans people and will provide your teams with practical ways to create a more trans inclusive workplace. We will cover a range of topics, including trans terminology, paths to transitioning, managing single-sex spaces, and the damage caused by transphobia, all to help your colleagues become the best trans allies they can be.

  • Diversity

In recent years, the terms equality and diversity have become buzzwords in HR departments throughout the country. But what do we actually mean by diversity? And how does LGBTQ+ come into it? Simply put, your organisation is not inclusive if it does not actively include LGBTQ+ people.

Our diversity workshops are designed to equip your team with practical knowledge about fostering good relationships between diverse groups, while informing everyone of their responsibilities in tackling discrimination in the workplace. Though we will advise on your legal duties to ensure equality in your organisation, we will also help you to understand how diversity can have incredible benefits for you, your company, and society as a whole.
