With a voice that’s been classically trained since the age of 13, listening to Jessy Allen sing live is a visceral experience - combining deeply operatic energy with a soul-stirring jazz fragility.  Hailing from Cardiff, she’s quickly lit up the city’s bright musical circuitry with collaborations alongside some of its finest producers including High Contrast, C.R.S.T and Darkhouse Family - who have picked up early support from the likes of Joy Orbison, MJ Cole and Gilles Peterson.

Jessy’s heavily anticipated solo material, produced by Eddie Al-Shakarchi (Boy Azooga, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard) has already received an incredible response. Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, Jessy's incredibly immersive and catchy single  'Rushbrook'  has been A-listed by BBC Radio Wales, featured on mixes for Tom Ravenscroft’s show on BBC Radio 6, and showcased by Huw Stephens on his BBC Introducing Show on BBC Radio 1.

Drawing on writing influences from her Grandads Motown record collection, girl group harmonies and Jazz, fused with her operatically trained voice, Jessy’s music channels a new melange of sound. Performing with her live band, buckle up for a journey that takes you to futuristic sonically charged highs, creamy melodic middles and richly, synthesised lows.
